Thanksgiving Roofing Blitz!
In support of Hands On New Orleans & Bayou Grace as they rally volunteers to roof homes that had been tarped in response to Gustav and Ike, the United Saints will be heading down to Chauvin LA. with tools, equipment, and experienced roofers. We need your help! Please join us and give a family something to be thankful for over thanksgiving.
CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS
“The Thanksgiving Roofing Blitz is taking place Saturday, November 22 through Wednesday, November 26. We will be repairing and replacing 15 roofs in 5 days! Skilled site supervisors will oversee construction Housing is provided for a small contribution of $20 a week. Showers, cots, washer/dryer, and a kitchen are available in the housing facility. Bayou Grace will provide 3 meals a day for a suggested donation of $10/day, or you may choose to purchase your own groceries .”
