Saints in the Spotlight: Ryan Falck

United Saints Long-Term Volunteer: Ryan Falck

“Experiences are what make life. My experience with United Saints in Tuscaloosa has given me something I have never done before. Connecting with people from a different place is something I will continue to take with me.”

Naperville, Ill. native Ryan Falck, 22, spent the month of October volunteering with USRP. He along with Danny Griffin took the trip to join college friend, Billy, who has been volunteering with USRP for 3  months. Ryan mentioned that visiting new places intrigued him and that he really did not have much to do, so why not volunteer for a month.

“Volunteering has shown me how much of a difference one person can make in someone’s life. The work, no matter how small or seemingly insignificant, is appreciated more than I can probably grasp.”

Ryan’s plan after returning to Ill. is to look for a job before going to grad school next fall; however he remarked, “We’ll see what happens.”
