The United Saints is pleased to begin a partnership with Central City Housing Development. Central City Housing Development is a non-profit organization that focuses on providing seniors with comfortable and affordable housing.
Hurricane Katrina damaged the exterior of the Satchmo Apartment Complex buildings on St. Andrew Street, and since the complex has expensive upkeep, the United Saints offered the services of volunteers to help paint and maintain the buildings.
Volunteers are currently working on three buildings, which house twelve independent residents who are excited to have their homes repainted.
